How do we work together?
Two routes
Depending on where you stand and what you intend to do
Every company brings a different starting point. If it is unclear where things are getting stuck, we begin with the diagnosis: understand first, then plan, then implement. If the direction is already clear, we move directly into implementation. We clarify which route fits in the initial consultation.

Toolkit
Step by step towards the goal
Four building blocks, two routes. Route A begins with the diagnosis and can be extended with a roadmap and simplification. Route B consists of support alone, without prior analysis. Every building block has a clear outcome.
Route A · From the ground up
Understand first, then plan, then implement
Route B · Start directly
consulting and coaching without prior analysis
Goal: change that carries on without me

Duration: by agreement
Building block 3 · Route B
XLG support

How long a building block takes depends on the size of the site and its decision-making paths. We clarify the likely timeframe together.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about the approach
How does the engagement start?
It starts with an initial consultation of 45 minutes, digitally by video or telephone, free of charge and without obligation. We clarify your starting point, your goal and whether it is a good fit. If it is, we meet on site for one to two hours with you and your leadership team, also free of charge and with no travel costs. You then receive a proposal with a clear scope: either for the maturity assessment or as a direct start with support. Whether you decide one building block at a time or choose the whole route from the outset is up to you.
How long does it take from the initial consultation to the start?
You receive the proposal within a few days of the on-site meeting. How quickly we then start depends on your internal approval and on my availability, which I state openly. It usually takes two to four weeks before the maturity assessment can begin, because interviews and appointments with your teams have to be coordinated. A direct start with support can begin sooner. If it is urgent, say so in the initial consultation and we will find a way.
What is a maturity assessment?
It shows in stages how well an organisation masters certain capabilities, from level 1 (not present) to level 5 (the organisation continues to develop independently). It examines everything that can hold change back: governance, processes, leadership, collaboration, capabilities, metrics and systems. Leadership and the operational level are assessed separately. The benefit lies in a shared language: senior management, plant management and teams discuss the same scale rather than impressions. Progress also becomes measurable because the scale can be applied again later.
What happens after the maturity assessment?
That is your decision. The next building block would be the roadmap: the recommendations become prioritised actions with owners and deadlines. Some clients do this with their own resources and later book a second maturity assessment to measure progress. Others engage me for the implementation, such as building shop floor management or training leaders. What matters to me is that the assessment does not end in a report. That is why every final presentation includes two or three quick wins that your team can start immediately, regardless of whether we continue working together.

Developed as a team, decided as a team.
Turn those affected into participants, decide together, and what has been decided together will also be supported.
